I want to help you feel good and thrive.

“Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”

— Brene Brown

Hello, I'm Raizy.

Being a mother is a significant part of my life. I understand the unique challenges of raising a family while also juggling the demands of daily life. Managing schedules and routines and trying to stay flexible can be quite challenging.

I work with women who feel depleted and struggle to care for themselves the way they care for others. They're working on balancing their needs and the needs of others. Having my own experience with this (which will differ from yours), I know the value of finding that balance.

I'm here to support you.

You don't have to carry everything alone. You don’t have to hold it all together. I’m not afraid of big emotions, and we can discuss anything you want to share.

I am a person-centered therapist. My commitment is to provide support without judgment, honor your autonomy, and respect your ability to make decisions that resonate with your journey.

I'm particularly drawn to working with mothers because, often, their emotional well-being takes a backseat to their loved ones' needs. I see you; your needs matter, too. Furthermore, the mother’s mental health impacts the whole family system. When a mother thrives emotionally, her family's well-being is positively influenced.

WORK HISTORY

Prior to private practice, I worked at a community mental health center. There, I helped adults dealing with complex trauma, depression, and anxiety. This experience shaped my understanding of the interconnectedness of mental health issues. It reinforced my belief in the importance of addressing not only the visible symptoms but also the underlying cause of emotional dysregulation. This perspective guides my practice today as I help clients on their journey to long-lasting healing and growth.

MY APPROACH

I want to help you get to the root of your struggle, not just the symptoms.
